Reviews and Ratings
I found this hotel to have a convenient location close to the road network and motorway, with the added bonus of being near a Hungry Horse pub and having its own restaurant. While the proximity to natural areas was a nice touch, the downhill trend in recent months was notable. The rooms were kept clean, had great shower facilities, included a sofa bed, and offered various amenities, making for a comfortable stay overall.
The hotel is conveniently located for the road network, with easy access to the motorway network. It was also nice being in a pub for a few years first before becoming a hotel, offering a cozy atmosphere. The proximity to the Lake District and a 'Hungry Horse' pub next door adds to its appeal. The own restaurant is a plus, but some noise from the neighboring pub was noticeable at times.
The hotel is ideally located for the road network, perfect for those traveling by car and with options for dining nearby. The rooms were kept very clean and had comfortable twin beds, but lacked armchairs. The hotel is adjacent to a Hungry Horse establishment and has its own restaurant, suitable for guests visiting Preston or Blackpool. The dining offered various salads. Overall, a decent place for a road trip stopover with convenient dining options.
